It is indeed true, Clean Water Makes Good Coffee.
“GOOD COFFEE” is a blend of DOMA Coffee developed exclusively for a partnership with Spokane Riverkeeper to help raise funds and awareness about Riverkeeper and our mission for a Swimmable and Fishable Spokane River. We’re thrilled to work with such a great local company who is willing to try out this new model of a partnership for how small businesses & non-profits can work together so it’s mutually beneficial.
About the partnership:
Proceeds from each can and/or pound of “GOOD COFFEE” sold directly benefit our work and our vision for a Spokane River that is Swimmable and Fishable; a River that reflects the quality of life of a healthy community. Specifically, for every 12-oz can sold, DOMA is donating $1.50 to Riverkeeper. And for every pound of fresh whole beans sold, DOMA is donating $2.00 to Riverkeeper.
Where you can buy it:
We are honored to count not only DOMA as our business partner in this adventure, but the great retailers who are selling the coffee as well. It takes everyone involved to make this a successful partnership, including the consumer. So THANK YOU in advance for purchasing “GOOD COFFEE”.
We will update this page as “GOOD COFFEE” becomes available at more locations around the Inland Northwest. And
Show us how much you love it:
If you’re out and about and see “GOOD COFFEE” or you have some in your house, do us a favor and snap a picture and upload it to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and tag us (@SpokaneRiverKpr on Twitter and Instagram and /SpokaneRiverkeeper on Facebook. We’re collecting photos of “GOOD COFFEE through your eyes” and featuring them in this photo album on the Spokane Riverkeeper Facebook page.
Praise for GOOD COFFEE:
Chris Dreyer and Dreyer Press who designed the can concept and art for “GOOD COFFEE”, and who does most of the design, artwork and printing for DOMA picked up a 2013 ADDY Gold Award at he Inland Northwest ADDY Awards Competition.
Also, DOMA continues to reign supreme in Spokane listed again as the Best Coffe Roaster in SpoCOOL’s “Best of Spokane” contest.
From its inception, DOMA was a company who supported and donated specifically to environmental organizations. One quick glance at DOMA’s product branding and you know they’re all about bikes and the environment. But it goes way beyond where and who they choose to support. As a business, DOMA is all about environmental stewardship. DOMA purchases certified organic, fair-traded and direct relationship coffees. As a member of Cooperative Coffees, they’ve made a commitment to place the farmers, their identity, and their product front and center. DOMA is first and foremost a transparent company, committed to letting customers know the people that grow their coffee and the cooperative organizations that they own and manage.
