How long have you lived in Spokane?
I’ve been here ten years now, meaning I’ve been here just long enough that I often forget the little things that made me fall in love with this city. Not anymore though. Yeah it’s February already, but I’m adding another New Year’s Resolution to my plate (currently it’s to drink more water) – I’m going to write down little observations about Spokane to appreciate this great place I call home.
This all stems from a recent blog post that is sweeping the local internets by storm. “City Stories: Spokane”, by J.A. O’Sullivan, who I presume is the new’ish Inlander writer, is a wonderfully written perspective of Spokane, from someone who is four months in to living here. Do yourself a favor and read this classic underdog story.
