Below is a documentary about the Spokane River produced by Kari Johnson, an Eastern Washington University Public History student. It’s an absolutely stunning piece combining a well-written narrative, rare historical audio, video clips and photos, and a concise and comprehensive storyline.

Kari asked me a little over three weeks ago to appear on camera for this project. I nearly fell off my chair last week when I received the finish product. So fast in turning it around, and so good! From the extensive research she must have put in to unearth so many of those photos and video / audio clips to the editing of the great interviews she had to her wonderful narration, this is a quality product.
