Ecology’s own Ted Sturdevant chosen to replace Jay Manning as Director.
Governor Chris Gregoire announced Monday that she’s chosen Ted Sturdevant who, until today, was the Department of Ecology’s external affairs director to succeed Jay Manning as the agency’s top manager. Manning announced he was leaving Ecology last month to become Governor
Gregoire’s chief of staff.
Sturdevant is a seven year veteran of the agency who came to Ecology from the staff of former Governor Gary Locke. In a media release distributed by Ecology, Sturdevant was praised by the Governor and by spokespersons representing environmental and business interests.
