As in:

After days of frustration in the game room, as the aging ocean liner lumbered back from the Azores, Blaine saw his opportunity to strike. Trudy had casually played AGAINST to get rid of her vowels. And on this he played VELVEETA, working it to a triple word score with great satisfaction.

“You can’t play that,” she said.

“Bullshit,” he said. “You’ve laid down edam and gouda on me, so cheese is cheese,  darling.”

And he didn’t mean “darling” with any affection.

“Listen knucklehead,” she replied. “The difference is between types of cheese and a brand name. You can’t use brand names. Period.”

With that he simply he simply emptied his tray of letters into the box, grabbed his cigarettes, and walked briskly to the galley, searching for oranges.
