Time to Make a Splash

Center presents 2nd Annual National Paddling Film Festival April 18th.

Following on last year’s packed house, the CFJ Spokane River Project is presenting the Spokane screening of the National Paddling Film Festival at the Magic Lantern Theatre on Saturday, April 18th. Tickets for the event are $10 and can be purchased at the door or by clicking here. The film festival is sponsored by the Charlie Beavers Memorial Expedition Fund and proceeds will go to the CFJ Spokane River Project. For more information on the national film festival, go here.

The event coincides with the Spokane River Kickoff, an on the water festival for paddlers and other river enthusiasts. The event will be at Corbin Park in Post Falls, Idaho, starting at 10 a.m. and running until 5 p.m. It features a variety of events, a free barbecue and free kayak instruction provided by EWU epic adventures.
