Center celebrates milestone anniversary on historic day.
The amazing thing, believe it or not, is that work still got done. This despite the historic inauguration of the 44th President and the preparations for the Center for Justice’s 10th anniversary open house and party in the afternoon. The day, in the building, was marked by a steady stream of clients upstairs and one of CFJ founder Jim Sheehan’s eloquent speeches, downstairs, after the guests had settled in and the anniversary cake had been carved.
Suffice to say, it’s nearly 11 p.m., and the party at the Community Building and the adjoining Saranac Building
goes on and on.
Thanks to everybody who came by today to share memories and renew your support for the work we do. We’ll have more to do to mark our first decade but as memorable days go, it will be hard to top this one.
