Center to Celebrate its 10th

Open House on January 20th Marks Milestone Anniversary.

The board and staff of the Center for Justice are inviting the Center’s friends, neighbors, and supporters to join us January 20th (Inauguration Day) to celebrate the Center’s Tenth Anniversary.

“This is a time of great change and challenge for our community and the nation,” says CFJ Chief Catalyst Breean Beggs, “The Center provides a voice for the voiceless in a legal system that often ignores them. In the first ten years the Center has played a critical role in cleaning the air and water, minimizing civil rights abuses by law enforcement, opening up government to every day people and alleviating poverty. I am proud of the change we have created thus far and number of people we have helped both in and outside the courtroom. Spending time with our community celebrating these and future changes will be memorable and fun.”

The Tenth Anniversary Open House will be held at the Community Building Lobby, 35 W. Main from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We’ll have cake and appetizers and drinks, and live music afterwards when folks can join Inauguration night activities at the Community Building and the adjoining Saranac Building.
