To help commemorate the Fortieth Anniversary of the federal Wild & Scenic Rivers Act, award-winning author and photographer Tim Palmer will be in Spokane Monday to share 200 pictures from his adventures along America’s untamed streams.
“If you have any interest in rivers in their natural settings,” says Center for Justice lawyer and water aficionado Rick Eichstaedt, “Tim’s photography will just floor you with the way he’s been able to capture the energy and majesty of American rivers.”
Palmer’s appearance is presented by the Center and Idaho Rivers United. There will be a reception at the Saranac Building Art Gallery at 6:30 p.m. followed by Tim’s slide show at the Magic Lantern Theatre at 7:30. Both are at 25 W. Main Avenue. Tickets are $5 at the door.
